African people are rooted in their culture which idealy controls their daily socio-economic endeavors.In the face of globalization and cultural integration no one can gues whether the rich African knowledge holds respect in the minds of policy makers regarding conservation and preservation of natural resouces that are necessary for sustainable development and livelihood.The panel has prepared discussions on this very topic based on both qualitative and quantitative research findings in Kenya.
