Panel 148: Reflections on Africa's Integration project (AISA / Matlotleng Matlou)

Panel Organiser: The Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA) / Matlotleng Matlou

Drawing on AISA's ongoing research on continental integration this panel will provide reflections on the progress, challenges and opportunities for the African integration project.  It will interrogate developments ranging from the political front where they manifest in the "grand" debate on the union government, to issues of peace, security, governance and questions of Africa's capacity to realize its vision of a peaceful and prosperous continent.
