This panel wish to contribute to our understanding of the diversity and complexity of Cape Verdean society through the analysis of its transformations, continuities and conundrums. The papers presented will focus upon the different discourses on the Cape-Verdean Diaspora, on youth issues, and, also, on the consequences of female emigration.
