The panel focuses on new media entrepreneurs, especially from the realm of religious movements, human rights activists, ethnic movements or NGOs, appropriating media such as radio stations, TV stations, film /Video studios, newspapers, publishing houses and websites, and the respective consequences for the configuration of public spheres in Africa.
