Spatial dimensions of human action are significantly influenced by gender. And gender aspects of human action have undoubtedly a spatial dimension. This panel tends do look into the possible articulation of a spatial and a gender approach of analysing human action in Africa, combining geographical, political, sociological and historical contributions.
