The European Conference on African Studies (ECAS)
2007 will be held from 11-14 July 2007 in Leiden, the
Netherlands. The theme of the conference is "African
Alternatives: Initiative and Creativity beyond Current
Constraints".
Paper
proposals that do not fit into one of the approved
panels will not be considered. The deadline for the
submission of abstracts has now expired. The
proposals will be reviewed in February 2007 and those who
have submitted abstracts will be notified as to whether
their paper has been accepted or not at the end of February 2007.
For questions concerning a proposed paper, you can
contact the panel convenor directly.
Each panel session will last one and a half hours and
can accommodate 3-5 papers. If a panel attracts more
than five interesting and relevant paper proposals, the
panel convenor may consider organizing additional
sessions.

€125 |
Full registration (as of 1 April) |
