| Abstract | The number of refugees applying for the asylum seeker status in Portugal scarcely overpass a hundred a year, despise de fact that some of the African countries were they came from have privileged relations with the Portuguese government (eg: Guinea-Bissau, Angola till 2002). This paper addresses the thematic by focusing in particular individuals and their experience has asylum seekers, carrying from life-stories of Guinean asylum seekers arrived to Portugal after the coup of 1998. |
