The main conference venue for ECAS 4 is Ekonomikum which is a Centre for research and education in economics and social sciences of Uppsala University.  Visiting address of Ekonomikum: Kyrkogårdsgatan 10, Uppsala.

Ekonomikum is a multidisciplinary centre bringing together research and education in economics, social and economic geography, and information science. The centre has approximately 2.500 students and some 500 faculty and staff members. In addition to the departments, the centre houses a library, a print shop, and a restaurant. The opening of the conference on 15 June 2011 will be held at the Grand Auditorium in the Main Building of Uppsala University. The ECAS 4 conference dinner which will be held in the evening of 15 June 2011 will take place at the Uppsala main Concert and Congress Hall (Uppsala Konsert & Kongress). The closing ceremony  of the conference on 18 June 2011 will take place at “Rikssalen” of the Uppsala Castle. Rikssalen is accessed through the main entrance “D” of Uppsala Castle.
